Heart Screening provided by Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY)

Our 2 apprentices recently attended a Heart Screening provided by Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY). CRY is a charity that provides screening for young people aged between 14-35 years old and helps to detect any potential issues that can then be treated. Without the screenings taking place these heart issues would not be detected.

A friend of Karen’s lost her son in his 30s due to an undetected heart problem, so she took on the challenge to raise £6,000 to facilitate the screening of 100 young people.

We are pleased to report both Freddie (21) and Matt (19) had no issues.
